We want to add a key player to our team – a senior-level interactive designer who will provide comprehensive Web production services for the design and development of websites, e-mail and social media assets.
If you’ve got a high level of understanding and abilities within traditional design fundamentals — such as layout and grid systems, use of color, typography, iconography, imagery, and modern interaction design, Web-standards based development and experience working with database-driven CMS — you’d be a good fit at our agency. We’re also seeking a high appreciation for information design, balanced minimalism and highly scalable systems. And don’t forget to bring your portfolio showcasing examples of your best work.
Here’s a little more information on qualities and experience of our ideal team member:
- A minimum of 6 years Web design and development experience
- Bachelor’s degree or related work experience
- Expert-level skills with HTML and CSS web standards and Javascript
- Knowledge and experience with advanced content management systems; experience with Drupal is preferred
- Knowledge of a range of computer platforms, browsers and other relevant Internet technologies
- Experience working with multiple IT resources, including in-house corporate teams and freelancers
- Demonstrable experience with LAMP development
- Experience implementing websites from the ground up
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Quick learner with ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Knowledge of all major content management systems and semantic tools
- Solid understanding and competence in the Adobe Creative Suite
- Solid understanding and appreciation for information architecture and interface design principals and standards
- Familiarity with communicating technical requirements
- Self-motivated critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
