Spring. It’s a season of renewal, and a time to celebrate warmer weather and the chance to once again enjoy the outdoors. Around here, though, spring can be exciting for different reasons.

The sixth annual Quality Chekd leadership conference was being held in St. Louis, MO, this year and my colleague, Brooke Ortner and I hit the road to attend along with our client Hiland Dairy. The highlight of the conference came during the dinner banquet when our friends at Hiland Dairy were recognized with the Harlie F. Zimmerman Award for marketing excellence — one of the highest marketing honors in the dairy industry. That night they earned seven additional merit awards, as well.
To put this in perspective, the Zimmerman Award recognizes the Quality Chekd member dairy that creates and executes the best marketing plan, promotions and merchandising programs. The dairy’s efforts must prove to enhance brand awareness and most importantly — generate results.
This is such an honor in their industry and we couldn’t be happier for them — Congratulations!

Meanwhile back at home, the local American Marketing Association chapter held their AMA Pinnacle Awards ceremony. I am thrilled to tell you several Envoy clients were recognized during this event and we were humbled to stand beside them as they received their awards. We know our clients are some of the hardest working people around, and I can’t help but brag on their behalf.
Way to go Hiland Dairy, Roberts Dairy, Boys Town, Max I. Walker and Westside! All of us here at Envoy are proud of your achievements.
