Envoy, Inc. worked with Markel BMW and the Susan G. Komen Foundation to make the 10th anniversary of the “Ultimate Drive” a success.

In the eight hours of the event on Aug. 16, 96 test drives were taken in specially marked BMW cars, totaling 3,482 miles.For each mile that was driven, BMW donated one dollar to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Including a contribution by Markel BMW, the total amount raised at this year’s event was more than $8,500.

The Ultimate Drive received plenty of advance attention in the media and KETV, KMTV and KPTM included reports on the event in its evening newscasts on Aug. 16.
