Area Residents Serve As Extras

On Jan. 25 at 7 p.m., Woodbine residents will be able to the view the footage that the Great Plains Production Co. and Envoy Inc. captured at two locations in Woodbine for commercials and a plant tour presentation title “The Milk Movie.”

Spotlights, limousines and celebrity arrivals are just some of the Hollywood-like aspects of a special “Community Appreciation” event that will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 25, in Woodbine, Iowa. A large crowd is expected at the Woodbine High School gymnasium as Roberts Dairy thanks the community for its cooperation and participation in the filming of Roberts’ 100th anniversary commercials in July of 2005.

Paper or Plastic?

Roberts Dairy, one of Envoy’s clients, will conduct a test in several Kansas City and Topeka school districts to answer the age-old question, “paper or plastic?” from a student prospective.
