Envoy, Inc., has announced the promotion of Tom Sain and the hiring of Julia McConahay, Jay Barringer and Sean Weide.

Sain, who has worked at Envoy since 2000, was promoted from art director to associate creative director. He has a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Delaware and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Middle Tennessee State University. Sain will work closely with Barringer, Envoy’s other associate creative director.

Barringer comes to Envoy from Gordmans, Inc., where he served as a writer/producer. A graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, he has more than 15 years of agency experience. In addition to his duties as associate creative director, Barringer will write and produce for several of Envoy’s broadcast and print accounts.

Sain and Barringer will oversee and manage the look and consistency of account projects, as well as manage the agency’s creative department.
