The 2006 Pinnacle Awards had much in store for Envoy, Inc.
During the “Walk of Fame” on Thursday, April 6, Envoy was awarded a Pinnacle, the top award, for the Total Marketing Campaign category for a small business.
The Ultimate Drive for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Campaign, created for Markel BMW, combined elements of design, public relations, event planning, direct response and grassroots marketing tactics to accomplish an incredible goal of raising money for breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment. Envoy handled all pre-event planning, marketing, publicity and day-of-event logistics. The integrated marketing campaign helped raise several thousand dollars for the Susan G. Komen Foundation on behalf of Markel BMW.\
Additionally, Envoy received a Gold Merit Award in the Direct Response category for the Metropolitan Community College Winter Enrollment Campaign. This grassroots campaign included creating new collateral materials (a poster to display at high school campuses, a direct mail piece to be sent to high school students, a pocket calendar to distribute at college fairs and a self-mailing brochure) as well as an update to the school’s classic jingle (“Metro Tech Community College…”), and the implementation of a radio and television schedule.
Envoy’s Public Relations efforts were also awarded a Gold Merit Award for the “Read to Ride” program that was created for Martinizing Dry Cleaning. This public relations campaign promoted summer reading among children in grades kindergarten through sixth and increased awareness of Martinizing, while providing community service.
