Markel Lands Mini Cooper

With the help of Envoy Inc., Markel landed a franchise deal to bring Mini Cooper, a BMW subsidiary, to Omaha by April 2007.
In order to make room for the Mini dealership, Markel will tear down a BMW building on its site that is west of the Westroads Mall.
Construction is scheduled to begin in March 2007 and is projected to cost about $4 million.
