Envoy coordinated several public appearances by Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey performers. Here is a look back at a few of them in pictures.
Extreme Limousine provided transportation for several of the public appearances.
The Shenzen Troupe performed live on KETV as clown Dan Berkley provided anchors Elictia Hammond and Mike’l Severe with details on the circus.
The mile-long train, in which the performers’ live, consists of eight-person cars. While the circus was in Omaha, the train was parked in nearby Council Bluffs.
As you can see from the picture at right, the hallways of each car are extremely narrow.
Each car also includes two restrooms and a shower.
There are no dining cars on this train, though some performers have hot plates in their rooms.
Now this was really a “clown car.” Jamarr Woodruff (left) is joined by Brandon Bolden, Neal Skoy and Steve Copeland in Extreme Limousine’s Cadillac Escalade.
And here they are, ready for their special performance at Children’s Hospital.
A crowd of more than 100 patients, parents and staff members enjoyed the 45-minute performance in the hospital’s atrium.
The Yunnan Flyers (seen performing at left) are remarkable acrobats from China who also performed at Children’s Hospital.
Their aerialist act dazzled the crowd, particularly when the youngest performer twirled rings as she stood on the shoulders of a fellow performer.
Membership in Yunnan is looked upon as a career. All of its performers have been members for at least a dozen years. However, this is their first trip to the United States.
The hospital appearance was one of a number of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey events covered by local media outlets.
Envoy’s Sean Weide and Julia McConahay (not dressed as clowns) coordinated much of the circus publicity.
