Envoy, Inc., Wins Four Telly Awards for Boys Town Spots

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The prestigious awards honor the very best in video production

OMAHA, Neb., April 13, 2017 — Omaha advertising and marketing agency Envoy, Inc., is pleased to announce that it has received four bronze Telly Awards for Boys Town TV spots produced and aired at the end of 2016. Founded in 1988, Envoy has long been an award-winning agency and is proud to add Telly Awards to its shelves. These Telly Awards are an even more special honor, as Boys Town celebrates its centennial this year.

"We appreciate every award we receive, but these are especially wonderful since Boys Town is celebrating its 100th anniversary," said Kathy Broniecki, co-owner and chief strategy officer at Envoy. "We continually strive to produce the best work possible for our clients, and we’re always working to bring innovative and creative concepts to life. It’s just so nice when we’re recognized for outstanding work."

The winning TV spots focus on Boys Town’s commitment to helping and healing children, families and communities. The spots won two awards for craft writing, one award for a nonprofit organization campaign, and one general award for a nonprofit organization spot.

"Our centennial campaign sets the tone for our next 100 years," said Chris Doyle, senior director, marketing and communications, Boys Town. "Envoy managed to capture the heart and soul of our mission by highlighting the kids, families and communities we serve. It was outstanding work, and we are grateful to have such a talented and insightful team as a partner."

A prestigious judging panel of more than 500 accomplished industry professionals, each a past winner of a Silver Telly and a member of the Silver Telly Council, judged the competition, upholding the historical standard of excellence that Telly represents. The Silver Council evaluated entries to recognize distinction in creative work — entries do not compete against each other; rather, they are judged against a high standard of merit. Less than 10 percent of entries are chosen as winners of the Silver Telly, the highest honor. Approximately 25 percent of entries are chosen as winners of the Bronze Telly.
